Hape Kerkeling is one of the most constant and successful film and television stars in Germany throughout the past 20 years. He is comedian, show host, entertainer, actor, singer, impersonator and cabaret artist in one and the same person.

The exceptional and multitalented Kerkeling can already look back upon a long, mutual history with the GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU. In the years 1990 and 2005 he was awarded the coveted trophy for his program "Total Normal" (Totally Normal) and as “Best TV Entertainer”. In addition, he also presented the “Lilli Palmer and Curd Jürgens Memorial Camera” to the best upcoming young acting talents over a period of several years within the scope of the gala event.

Just as for the previous 45th and 46th GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU, entertainer Hape Kerkeling will host the festive event, which will be broadcast live by ZDF on February 4, 2011, in a grand gala in the Ullstein Auditorium of the Axel Springer Publishing House in Berlin.
